How many free scans do I get?

Every month you get 10 free label scans and 1 free wine list scan. In your first 30 days you get 3 list scans in total instead. Counts refresh on the 1st of each month (UTC).

Does a wine list with several pages use up several scans?

No. Pages scanned together count as one list scan, up to 6 pages, as long as you keep going within 15 minutes of the previous page.

Why are my scan limits lower than the numbers above?

If the app could not confirm it is a genuine copy, the allowance is 3 label scans and 1 list scan a month.

What if I run out of scans?

You can still add any wine by typing its details, and you can still browse your journal and taste as much as you like.

Does it work without internet?

Your journal, the guided tasting and wine search all run on your phone, so they work offline. Only scanning a photo needs a connection.

Where is my journal kept?

On your phone, and mirrored to your private iCloud so it follows you across your devices. If you are not signed in to iCloud it stays on the phone and syncs once you sign in.

How do I delete a wine?

Open the wine in your journal and choose delete.
